In the web portal, http://www.indec.gov.ar, the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) offer to the general public the new Georeferenced query system called "Mapas Dinámicos", it is a web map server focused in Argentine as region, which will be from special interest of students and researchers. This service allows geographic queries, thematic mapping and displaying of satellite imagery. It gives access to census data from the National Census of Population (2001 - 1991) and from the National Agricultural Census (2002). The service offers interactive nation wide maps. The user has the possibility to retrieve census data given a geographic position. Recommended resolution: 1024x768 with 16 millions of colors.
