Flood-warning "Pegelportal" This project, once finished, will allow users to receive flood warnings via SMS by tapping into gauge-data from the german Federal Waterways Directorate. The system was designed in cooperation with the citizens' action committee "Bürgerinitiative Hochwasser" from Köln-Rodenkirchen and aims at improving the informational situation for people affected by floods.
