slaxGIS is a collection of GIS software packages meant to be added to the slax 6.0.x live USB distribution. slaxGIS includes the following software: MapServer 5.2.0, Chameleon 2.6.0 RC1, GRASS 6.3.0 - 6.4svn, PostgreSQL 8.3.3, PostGIS 1.3.3, OpenJUMP PIROL 1.2.B, uDig 1.1 RC14. Besides these software packages, all the packages they need are included too (such as libraries, Proj, Gdal/OGR...) .
