[mapserver-users] Displaying/setting representative fraction (RF) Scale

Hi folks,
Does any have a site that allows the user to either of the following?  I'd
love to see a demo and learn how you do it (codewise).

1-enter a specific scale for a map and automatically zoom to the proper
extent
2-zoom in manually and display the current scale of the map
